IMA MSN UP
The Indian Medical Association is a National organisation of Doctors of Modern Scientific System of Medicine in India. It was established in 1928 under the guidance of Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. The IMA is the largest association of doctors in India with more than 3 lakh doctors as its members. It is also a founding member of the World Medical Association.
Its Headquarters are in Delhi : IMA House, Indraprashtha Marg, New Delhi – 110002
MSN is Medical Students Network. It is the Students Wing of IMA aiming to connect medical students from all the medical colleges in India with the same goals and purpose as IMA while also providing a means of extra-curricular activities to students which most medical colleges in India lack. Incorporated in 60th Central Council of IMA on 27 & 28 December 1999 held at Pune. Rules & bye – laws of Indian Medical Association Medical Students Network (IMA MSN) approved by 61st Central Council at its Meeting held at Calcutta on 27-12-2000.
